The project “Research of Physics and Evolution of Complex Astronomical Objects” (2014-2016)is carried out.  Its supervisor is Prof. Nail Sakhbullin, h = 13. X-ray sources OpenLab X-ray Astronomy was established (headed by Ilfan Bikmaev, h = 18,). The leading scientists were invited for staff training in the area of X-ray astronomy (Marat Gilfanov, h = 40, Leading Researcher of the Max Planck Institute of Astrophysics, Germany, born 1962; Sergei Fabrika, h = 16, head of Laboratory of Physics of Stars in Special Astrophysical Observatory of RAS, born 1955).

The project focuses on classification and investigation of high-energy radiation sources based on their optical and X-ray observations, participation in international cooperation with space orbital observatories (INTEGRAL, SWIFT, PLANCK) on the optical identification of X-ray sources, supermassive black holes, galaxy clusters. The astronomical observations are taken out with RTT-150 Russian-Turkish optical telescope installed by KFU in Turkey.

Main partners: Space Research Institute of RAS (Moscow), Max Planck Institute of Astrophysics (Munich, Germany), and the Institute of Space Astrophysics (Paris, France).
